A new registrant at "Pilots for 911 Truth" signed on and then after a while posted the following

I signed up for these forums because this guy Merc told me y'all wanted to debate people like me.

I was hoping that opposing viewpoints would be accorded some respect, but after reading through all of the threads on these "debate" forums, it is clear that you do nothing but insult and slander anyone who challenges your views. I see little point in debating with people who have such outward hatred of skeptics.

So, hello and goodbye.

Meester, the fact that 9/11 was a false-flag operation was established a long time ago. I've been in this long enough now to know that debating this topic with "skeptics", especially Randites is a pointless excercise. You don't "challenge" anyones views, but rather seek to slander / libel us. Our objective is to open a new, impartial, and independent inquiry. What are your objectives? Why is defending what is essentially sick US Government propaganda so important to you? That is none of your business! They already have spin doctors to do that!

The operative word is "perpetual" as in never ending.

Few, if any, of us are interested in debating for debating's sake.

You do have a point. Perhaps we should change its name to "Discussion." Would that suit you better?

As Painter quite rightly put it, maybe we should change the title of this forum to "Discussion".

It would appear that unlike JREFers, our interests lean toward constructive discussion. "Debate" appears to be very much a JREF construct, and in many cases your actions may be described as nothing short of nihilistic.

It has always appeared to me that the JREF crowd are not interested in what is correct or incorrect, but rather which argument or contrarian statement is most useful in derailing your opponent. For them it is just a 'game of wits' and nothing more. That's what you get, I guess, when you fall under the psudo-intellectual spell of a two-bit magician who has turned his slight of hand and argumentative skills into a low-level counter-intelligence operation whose sole function is to direct, redirect and otherwise compromise independent cognition in cyberspace.

The best one IMHO is the last one. No one can view much of the forum unless one registers. The new guy had been invited to register and was told that the members there would like to debate him. He decided that this was obviously not the case and said so.

Now one troofer tries to say that the new guy only registered to make the comment. Seems he has trouble with reading comprehension.

Basically the others simply bolstered the new guy's opinion by agreeing that they simply do not want anyone to debate or challenge their already set minds on the matter of 9/11. So much for 'just asking questions'.

Like all "Troof" sites, and members, they only wish to discuss "constructively" if the construction involves promoting or enhancing their existing theories on 9/11. If one goes to the site to "constructively" debate their theories by pointing out the obvious flaws, they are slandered/libeled, and usually banned in short order. I expect little else from the Police States that are the 9/11 truth sites.

I might make a separate thread about this sometime, but what on earth would be accepted by truthers as a truly "independent" inquiry?

Since they reject NIST it cant be governement funded (should private companies pay? What companies would be considered "independent"?)

It cant use scholars from well-known universities

As I see it it cant use a lot of classified materials - since that would require involvement/and or cooperation with policing organsations such as the FBI. Or would you have to make new laws that gives non-government bodies the right to access secret material (such as possible privacy-infringing footage from security cameras)?

I too was invited by jdx himself when he first set it up.

My experience as an ex-Air traffic Controller may have seemed like a good fit for his 'pilots' forum. I lurked for awhile and when I finaly chimed in I was polite and civil.

As soon as he saw I wasn't "one of them" he sent me a slew of nasty PM's before he unceremoniously banned me.

That forum is the worst of the worst.

24 or so. There are a few pilots who for some reason think no one can fly jets like them.

The truth is flying a 767/757 into a building is too easy. No training required; a kid could do it! Now making a good landing in minimum visibilty may take a pilot with years of experience to complete safely.

But crashing is a piece of cake!

25 total, not too smart pilots. (2 students are included or so)

Some years ago the Air Force alone would produce about 2500 pilots. So JDX the johndoeXLC man of lies for 9/11 has about 1 pecent of a big year of the airforce number of pilots in his tiny group of nuts. Take 76 years an average lifetime and at least 5,000 plus pilots made a year, you have about a rough 500,000 pilots plus.

Just making up numbers from best guess makes his 1 percent of a AF year production into a .005 percent of all pilots in the US. I expect I am off by a bunch and not in JDX's favor.

JDX has less than 0.005 pecent of pilots who believe his junk. How many nuts will by his DVD?

In the Pilots for Truth forum there is a section called Aviation Professionals. There is almost no activity in it. What little there is mostly from JohnDoe himself , Waterdancer (I can't view the Loose Change board but is he the physics major who specializes in timing falling objects) ,and a few other old loose change board people. Not much from other professional pilots.

JohnDOe should take his Hani couldn't fly theory into a real professional pilots board and see if it would fly there. He did post there once on PPrune (i think thats the name) and didn't get a warm reception.

Unless Waterdancer is Waterbender on LC, I think they are different. He insists that two objects dropped into wind resistance with the same mass will hit the ground at the same time. Some specialist.
