I saw a British documentary about this guy last night. Very interesting. Hard to say who is more scarey, him or those who campaign against him. Regarding Icke himself, what I find really disturbing is how someone who is apparently utterly rational and obviously intelligent could be so remarkably out of his gourd. Are any of you familiar with him and his philosophy? All this stuff about a secret, worldwide ruling society of "illuminati" who are really lizards and the spawn of aliens.
They drink baby blood and all sorts of hideous stuff. They exercise mind control over all of us regular folks. They apparently have it in for old Dave himself, but he keeps eluding them or something. Another thing I find disturbing is that I find myself agreeing with him about certain things - the dangers of world government and the centralization of power, the development of a world economy and multinational corporations. I think it is unfortunate because, by virtue of being such a wingnut, he tends to delegitimize the genuine concerns of normal people about these issues. Check out his web site. Very "illuminating". A hoot.
I apologize if he is old hat to you guys, but I haven't seen a post about him in here.
