Could these be fossils?

I was at the beach the other day and found some interesting patterns in the rocks. Is someone able to tell me if these are likely fossils of some description?

I think the top one might be a coprolite of some sort.

Not sure though. Did it smell like anything?

A fossil is the remains or impression of a prehistoric organism preserved in petrified form or as an impression in rock.

What you have there is sedimentary rock. Sedimentary rock often contains fossils. I didn't personally see any fossils in your photo, but they could be there.

The conglomerate looked a lot like old concrete to me.

(With bits of bricks and such like included)

The sedimentary rock is quite pretty.

Sometimes you can get things growing on the outside (like lichen) which makes patterns that look like fossils.

:)

Thanks for the responses (and to answer marplots) yes one of them stunk like fish. I am Disappointed. It seems I am a victim of lichen or paradoilia (sp?) or both. Oh well always next time.

The top two pics look like inclusions in the sandstone. The link is about inclusions in quartz but the processes are similar. The white rock is probably quartz or if it's softer, calcium carbonate is a possibility.

I agree it looks like embedded concrete in the bottom two. The half circle on the bottom of the last pic looks like an iron pipe almost completely eroded. But I can't tell for sure just from the one image.

Sedimentary concretions form in the ocean and the shoreline then erode out again.

Cool thanks for the advice and link. Is there a simple test to do on the spot to tell if something is concrete or is it something that requires experience?
What's the location?
Newport beach in NSW Australia. There are rocky cliffs at either end. Since childhood whenever I go I always spend some time looking for fossils. The most I have found though (possibly from other beaches in the area) are a couple of shell imprints and something else shaped like a torus embeded in rock.

The one with the sort of white cross, there are cracks running along the middle of the white parts, could that have been some form of life setting up home inside the cracks and it's waste/remains leach out into the stone surrounding the cracks and discolouring it and weakening it so more prone to erosion.
