Actually, he wasn't my patron, so I can talk about him. S.T. Joshi was in my library today and I got to chat with him. He was charmed by the fact that I am a card carrying skeptic and we exchanged comments about Randi, Prometheus Books and stuff. Nice guy.
 
Holy crap! That's the guy who writes the intros for the Lovecraft short story collections! Neat!!
 
I'm easily impressed, actually. I was impressed when I met a guy whose mother had her breast jokingly fondled by Lucy Lawless.
 
I promise not to die in the near future. I figure, judging from my mother (88) and one of her sisters who died two years ago at 101, I have about 40 more years left in me.

Joshi and I talked again today. He was really funny when I told him TM's comments. He referred to his notes on Lovecraft as being pompous and windy. :)
