I guess the real question is, what point are you trying to make? I don't think anyone has a lot of interest in playing whack-a-mole with what you're trying to say here.

What's your take on the current situation in Ukraine\Russia? How do you think it should end?
The Russian Special Military Operation into Ukraine IS NOT AN INVASION. It is (and has been from the very beginning) strategically limited. It is not an invasion. As far as how I think it should end would take more space than this little forum window allows.

Lukashenko helpfully showed everyone how limited Putin's invasion aims were on live TV.

'Limited' to sweeping deep into Ukraine along the whole border, occupying Donbas, seizing the entire Black sea coast all the way to Moldova and capturing the capital to decapitate the government and install a puppet regime, after which the whole country would be his to command.

You can tell how unlike an invasion it was by the fact that it involved only a few thousand tanks and only almost the entire ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ Russian army shooting only almost everything in sight. It would be crazy to call such a limited action an "invasion". It'll all be over in a few days and then we'll all laugh about how seriously everyone was taking it.

What is your definition of an invasion?

Have you forgotten that they also went for Kiev (although it would still be an invasion if they hadn’t).
Are you not aware that Russia was dupped into leaving Kyev by fasle promisses spelled out in the Minsk Agreement? Putin has never intended to take all of Ukraine or even Kyev. Would you like to know more?

Yes please. Tell me more. And be honest. Do not put your own spin on it.

It's true, Putin's special military operation has been of limited scope, that scope being the conquest of Ukraine which Putin sees as a renegade region of Russia. The US couldn't invade Florida could it?

Sarcasm

Minsk I was signed in August of 2014. Minsk II was signed in February of 2015. How did either of them contain false promises that either made Russia march on Kiev or fall back in February of 2022?

In some seriousness, what were the strategic limits exactly? What exactly is an invasion if what Putin has done is not an invasion? The US had the strategic limit of expelling Iraq from Kuwait during the first gulf war, I'm pretty sure what we did was still an invasion of both Kuwait and Iraq.

Russia ABSOLUTLEY wanted to change the government of Ukraine by force, which was supposed to be done via invasion and occupation of Kiev.
Of course that would have involved keeping a small force to ensure compliance.
This has been the expressed goal of Russia, deposing the supposed "Nazis" with people willing to move Ukraine closer to Russia and away from the EU.

I remember before 2022 when Putin demanded that Ukraine shouldn't form any mutual trading relations with other countries as it properly belonged with Russia, because he doesn't believe it's a real, viable country in its own right so it ought to be brought within Russian control.

Surprisingly like what Trump is saying now about Canada.

What do you call it when one nation's army invades another nation's territory? A picnic?

Putin and Russia say Ukraine is not a real country and has no right to exist.
