Through exploring my mind and friends of mine exploring their minds, the terms reality creation and conscious creation has come up frequently. Recently, I have been reading books such as Ten Thousand Whispers: A Guide to Conscious Creation, Reality Creation 101, and The Reality Creation Technique. What I am coming to understand is that each individual creates his/her own day to day experience; our consciousness creates the lives we experience daily. Whatever we experience, we invite into our world. Our inner thoughts manifest as external experiences. I am learning that we have to be responsible for everything in our lives because we are the ones who manifested those things in the first place. What do you think? Are the familiar with the Seth Material?

It's dark outside because of me? Have I made this side of the Earth spin away from the light of the Sun?

Please explain how some young children invite rapists into their world, and how we can teach them to stop doing that.

Please explain how millions of residents of Japanese coastal villages invited a tsunami into their world, drowning nearly 20,000 of them, and how we can teach them to stop doing that.

Please explain how last week a 52-year old friend of mine with Down's Syndrome, who was loved and cared for by scores of people in his church, service community, Scout troop, and dozens of other social connections, who was looking forward to Christmas parties and a holiday cruise just days away, invited a fatal brain aneurysm into his life, even though he could not possibly have had any idea what that is. I would prefer that no more of my developmentally disabled friends suffer and die prematurely, so please tell me how I might instruct them how to avoid thinking the inner thoughts that result in such things.

Respectfully,
Myriad

Nonsense.

Any mention of Seth means that the source is ignorable.

How we can teach the tsunamis to stop killing them, or the Japanese to stop dying to them?

While most tsunami may be conscious, the last one to hit Japan was actually a p-tsunami. That is, while it was indistinguishable from a conscious tsunami, it had no interior life. Thereby proving... hell, something.

Did yourself and your friends have a brain scan or open brain surgery?

Oh . . . So “exploring my mind “ really means “I have read some books”.

What I am coming to understand believe is that each individual creates his/her own day to day experience;
Fixed that for you.

So you’ve also read The Secret as well? So I guess you will be winning the Lotto first prize next draw? I will give 10,000 to 1 odds you won’t.

What do you think?
You really mean “This is what I think and I want you to agree with me”. Sorry but I don’t think that will happen here.

Are the familiar with the Seth Material?
Do you mean Family Guy, American Dad and Robot Chicken?

I think everything what the OP said is utterly, completely, totally and thoroughly wrong.

We can easily test this, my friend. Try to do what you claim you are able to do. Try to think something into happening.

Hm, I feel reasoning coming that whatever happens, is what you thought into happening because it is not so easy to change your thinking patterns, you need to learn to control your mind better, wait a minute guys I will be back in a month if something remarkable happens what I thought into happening, maybe an earthquake or suicide bomber or train wreck somewhere. Then I will post a link to the news that proves it all, and doom upon anyone who still doubts.

More likely our minds merely create a model or perception of reality, which may or may not be consistent with objective reality.

How can we cause something to "manifest", except as the natural consequence of our behavior?

Spoken as a truly spoiled sheltered ignorant child (or at least mentally a child).

Only a person who has never suffered in life other than perhaps not getting the XBox he desired or winning the lottery he so wanted to win could utter such hogwash.

Only a privileged spoiled person who has never read history or current affairs and cannot even imagine the suffering of others could say such bunkum.

What wishful thinking did an autistic child or a child with brain cancer do?

What wishful thinking did a family do to bring about a drunk driver t-boning their car and killing the mother and daughter and paralyzing the father and brain damaging the son?

What wishful thinking did a little child sitting in the family room do to bring about a bomb plummeting down on his house and killing his entire family and burning him to the extent where he loses all his limbs and has to undergo hundreds of surgeries just so as to stop the unbelievably excruciating and continuous pain.

What wishful thinking did a little girl with a distended belly do to deserve the country wide famines and droughts that caused her malnutrition and the local brigands of the neighboring country robbing any food aid other people may try to make reach her village and not hacking her head off to bring an end to her misery.

What wishful thinking did a little boy and girl do to deserve being kidnapped from their village while frolicking on the bank or a river one day to be sold half a world away into lifelong bondage to be at the whim of some monster who uses and abuses them worse than cattle...... or maybe it was the wishes of the fiend who bought them that are coming to fruition???

Ignorance is truly a bliss my boy.... keep up your willful benightedness mate.... I think you may not be able to handle reality if you do ever wakeup.

First one, I do not know how a scenario like that works; it is addressed in Money and the Law of Attraction, but I do not feel comfortable going into it. I cannot tell you how electricity works either; but, I accept that it fuels this computer I am typing on. Second, it has to do with mass belief of an impending fear-based event. Thirdly, I am sorry for your loss and I work with children of special needs in the public school in the Mid West United States. But I do not think that these folks are exempt from the life philosophy that I have described.

Explain what the universe looked like when there was nothing more evolved than a sea slug.

Look like to who or what? Reality does not exist without a conscious observer/participant.

How did the world work before there were humans?

I think a better question is: How did the world, solar system, and universe operate before there was life and/or conscious life?

Oh . . . So “exploring my mind “ really means “I have read some books”.

It is referred to as introspection. Are you familiar with non-ordinary states of consciousness? That was an allusion to discoveries at a non-ordinary state of awareness via meditation or something similar.

No, you are making assumptions about what was presented in the Original Post. I am not here to convince you of anything. And that is how good books on conscious creation / magick begin; okay, we have these powers of conscious creation to manifest a world of health, wealth, and happiness for ourselves. You can take it or leave it. Whether you accept it or not, the influence of what I am describing is present in your life.

I think everything what the OP said is utterly, completely, totally and thoroughly wrong.

We can easily test this, my friend. Try to do what you claim you are able to do. Try to think something into happening.

Again, you do not have to accept it. I am just putting it out there. Testing the phenomena; I am trained in science. How do you measure the quality of visualization in the mind? In the future, it is a possibility.

But science already has shown this. When a basketball player visualizes himself making every free throw shot, as compared to no visualization, his percentage of made free throw shots is significantly higher.

consciousness experiences reality it doesn't create it.

Believe whatever you want to believe; you get to pick your beliefs. It is just that some beliefs facilitate maximum liberty for the individual. The one you expressed is not one of them.

More likely our minds merely create a model or perception of reality, which may or may not be consistent with objective reality.

How can we cause something to "manifest", except as the natural consequence of our behavior?

Semantics, all right. What do you consider objective reality? Like the world of Newtonian/classical physics?

It is a natural consequence of our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, intent, desire, which form our worldview.

I am not going to address posts that attempt to insult the people who are posting.

A mind is like a computer; and the individual, if aware enough, is the self-programmer.

Look like to who or what? Reality does not exist without a conscious observer/participant.
Really? Have you thought that through?

Semantics, all right. What do you consider objective reality? Like the world of Newtonian/classical physics?
We're talking about the stuff that's there whether you believe in it or not.

It is a natural consequence of our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, intent, desire, which form our worldview.
No.

A mind is like a computer; and the individual, if aware enough, is the self-programmer.
Sure. Which changes reality not at all.

Yes, but we KNOW there is such a thing as electricity. If you care to take the time, you can learn all about it from the work of many very bright people who figured it out. This "creating reality" business, on the other hand, is unfalsifiable speculation. You can't learn how it works because there is nothing to learn.
