This sidetrack got moved to AAH.

Yes, Bill, it's true. NIST NCSTAR 1-1C (I have the draft version) discusses pre-9/11 survey and repairs of WTC 1, 2 and 7 with numerous mentions of concrete and masonry, concrete encasement of beams and columns (any of those search terms would work)

Bedunkers already pwned in this thread.

Cut out the name calling, please.

You mean the beams in the subbasement?

I checked with the guy who was the structural engineer. The core of the WTC towers was steel and it was covered with wallboard, 3 inches and some was covered with other fireproofing material, to say otherwise is a sign of severe mental illness. ergo, are you mentally ill, because that is what it takes to say the core of the WTC was concrete. Be all you can be ergo, you don't do physics, now you spread lies if you claim the core was concrete.

LOL, now I can cross laughing until I cry off by bucket list, you posted the report from NIST for the Basement where there was massive amounts of concrete and steel. You are funny, you don't read your own sources.! good job

beat again by tsig
911 truth quotes mines without looking! wow

In the 60 seconds it's taken you to compose two posts here, you could have searched the terms yourself. Another idiot going on Ignore.
You are the one posting lies about 911, and you think the WTC towers had concrete cores. You better try being better at self critiquing.

Who is the idiot? Please list them.

You really can't make this stuff up can you?

I was actually going to provide the quotes for you, but no, it's funnier watching this many bedunkers fail all at the same time :)

If the core columns didn't have concrete encasement then surely they should have.
Wow, the WTC 7, the new one does use concrete to help make it stronger. Now we have to plan for idiots trying to kill us, we should make buildings stronger. Wow, rational thought, why are you so failed on 911 issues? You might recover from being a follower in 911 truth and be smart after all.

There was no concrete core; publications that say so are in error. A little research goes a long way. Rational research.

To be (slightly) fair, there is some mention of additional reinforcement largely in mechanical areas. Nothing new, it seems this helped to protect stairway B in the South tower from complete destruction, as it passed though the mechanical floor (unsure which floor but at the lowest end of the impact zone).
