I have one major complaint regarding TAM6. I am not there.

I am really jealous at all of you who managed to get there this year. So I thought it would be a good idea to start this thread with complaints about TAM6 because not everything can be as amazing as it seams, right!?!

You are not all having the time of your life while I am stuck here in Sweden? There must be things that are boring, people that are unfriendly, and I bet that you have already read all the books for sale, right?

So feel free to complain about TAM6 so that we that are left behind can feel a little better.
 
Adding to the terrible news, I am here, and TAM hasn't started yet. Seriously, this conference sucks (so far).

Ah, hangover hilarity.
 
I have been receiving smug text messages from various TAMers already in attendance, and it's pissing me off.

I will have to agree... I am also here, this conference is completely lame at this time.
"Yes, another margareta please." Oops, I did not mean to type that. I wish my delete key was not broken.
 
Well, here it is, Thursday afternoon, and I'm still not at TAM! My flight hasn't been magically bumped to an earlier takeoff, my hotel hasn't thrown a free extra day at me, and my boss hasn't even told me to take the rest of the day off, with pay.

You would not be that jealous if you'd have to deal with the 38-40 ºC outside temperature. The nice and pleasant Jan-Feb walks through The Strip are not this time around.

Apart from that, everything is fine and nice so far. I was looking forward to meeting you again this year .... but well .... next time.

Ohh, there's a setback that I know of. Luciana lost her camera with the full load of her Monument Valley trip photos. What a tragedy, hope she can find it :(. Also, this may serve as an announcement for all TAM attendees who might run accross a owner-less digital camera here at the Flamingo. It's probably Luciana's!...

How's this for a complaint - I will be in Vegas starting early tomorrow afternoon through Sunday afternoon and will not be able to attend a SINGLE TAM EVENT!! So close and yet so painfully far.
 
My only complaint thus far is that last night at the bar Scrut and Rebecca didn't throw down in a bloody free-for-all melee. There can be only one!
 
We're a co-ed roommate situation. The lady on the phone told me, months ago when I reserved the room, we'd have two single beds and two rollaways, and then we got here, the lady at the counter told us no, it's too many beds and a fire code violation, and couldn't understand why anyone wouldn't want to share a bed with three complete strangers. She really genuinely could not wrap her brain around that. We ended up with two queen beds, one roommate has a sleeping bag on the floor, and the fourth arrives tonight. We're still fighting for rollaways.
