I don't even know where to start with this one.
There you have it, from the paper that has all the news that's fit to print. It [the "60 Minutes" "Point-Counterpoint" segment] even inspired a famous parody, the Dan Aykroyd-Jane Curtin combination on "Saturday Night Live" which always had Mr. Aykroyd referring to Ms. Curtin as "Jane, you ignorant slut."

But.
Dole is probably the smarter of the two. And a lot funnier. And has more integrity in the eyes of the public, too.
But.
Neither one of them will ever change anyone's minds. And I won't guess as to how many fence-sitters each one will "win over."
But.
Since it is 60 minutes, Clinton will probably have a friendlier audience.

You mean misleading communication?![]()

I would submit that if you can mislead so easily, that your communication skills must be pretty sharp.
Good ole' Clinton. I took the wife to Texarkana AR/TX to visit her mom. We were driving on the arkansas side and her mom pointed to this corrugated steel building and said it used to be a the big dance/bar/hangout in the area. Then she said "That was where I danced with Bill Clinton when he was in-between offices" (Bill lost the head job in arkansas but later won it back).
I couldn't help it but I had to ask, "Did he make a pass at you?" She just laughed and said "well duh....... that old fool".
Apparently that David Brock spectator article wasn't too far from the truth.
