Let's face it, if a popular musician get arrested in for assault with a deadly weapon, it is going to get headlines. It has always been that way.

But Brown's history of violence toward women is going to be an issue in this case,even if it is not used as evidence. You can't find a jury that will not be aware of Brown's history.
I suspect it will end in a plea bargain anyway.

The media would not create it if the people did not want it. The reason trash magazines/media shows about silly celebrity tricks exist at all is the media realized way back that the people wanted them and that it could make the media more money than most real news (sex, death and mayhem are the biggies - best is when they can all be combined into one story!)!!!!

It goes without saying (though I am) that such has been provably true since there were forms of written/recorded history!!!!!

You can't find a jury that will not be aware of Brown's history.

I can virtually guarantee you can. I've been exposed to stories about him numerous times and I still wouldn't be able to pick him out of a lineup and have to pause after reading his name in order to remember who he his and why he's [in]famous. It probably doesn't help that he has a very generic name but the bottom line is that I'm not that up on popular music and thus have very little interest in the people who are in the business of creating it.

Believe me, you get a jury pool with 30 people aged 45+ and you'll get at least 12 people who don't know who he is at all.

Let's face it, if a popular musician get arrested in for assault with a deadly weapon, it is going to get headlines. It has always been that way.

Though there's some overlooked issues in this case. One is he's a convicted felon. And they supposedly found a gun (and drugs) at his house, which as a felon he's not allowed to be anywhere near let alone have in his hands. Also, he had to put up $250,000 bail to get out. In most cases that would be a bit steep for just about anything less than murder, but quite common for real scumbags who just can't be convinced to be good citizens (e.g. incorrigible criminals). With any luck it's an all cash bail too, which would just be the judge ******* with him.

There really is far less to Chris Brown than meets the eye. He's one ugly mother ****** for starters. I mean seriously, I have trouble looking at him. And most people wouldn't know his voice in the dark as he's just one of billions and billions of marginally talented Autotune® singers. Though seemingly possessing just enough sense to not actually kill his friends (or anyone else) yet. An ugly narcissistic stupid **** with more money than brains or talent. Such a great combo. It's why it will never turn out "good" when he's involved.
