Now if this isn't a serious threat for the nation ... In an interview
with the Huffington Post, Vice-President Cheney had this to say:

 Question: So, it seems to me you are saying that a "strong" president, one who can be trusted with extra-Constitutional powers, must automatically be a Republican.

Cheney: You still don't get it, do you? We've got our Constitutional weenies too. We're talking about a special kind of leader. Do want just anybody off the street having the powers we had? You only give those powers to serious neoconservatives, men who've experienced the battlefield, heroes who understand good and evil, trusted and tested patriots who understand what we're up against. You don't just hand out our authority to whatever politicians come along. [OK, I'm going off the record here. Understood. Turn that tape off. We're meeting. We're planning. to the Humor-Section - but after thinking about it, the possibility
alone is some serious [fill in the blank].

Oliver, aren't you even a little bit embarrassed? The phrase "Constitutional weenies" should have been sufficient to tell you that you're reading someone's idea of satire. It's funny how so many uninformed lefties pretend that Cheney pulls all the wires, but no one who actually worked at the Bush White House agrees. It's similar to the Conspiracy forum, where dumb kids living in their mothers' basements know so much more about physics and engineering than physicists and engineers do.

1. Gurdur finds both you and Ollie insufferable Pains in the (biblical beast of burden).

2. The thought of you two yammering at each other in this thread rather than spreading your odious (to Gurdur, I remind you) posts elsewhere is a pleasing thought to him.

3. As for translating your post, if I can figure it out, you should have been able too, which makes me think you already knew what he was saying and were deliberately baiting Gurdur.



For the record, I (Hutch), do not find you or Oliver pains in the bottom.
