Changed Firefox/Google News Behaviour?

I appears that something somewhere has been changed and I can't figure out how to get it back to the way it was working.

Previously, for as long as I remember, the Google News window automatically refreshed itself every few minutes (I never thought to time it but I occasionally caught it doing it and usually when I left the tab and returned later the content was updated). Recently it has stopped doing that and just sticks at whatever it was displaying when last it was loaded or manually reloaded.

I can't find anything on-line to explain whether News has changed in behaviour or it's just me. But I would like to return it to its old way.

Any suggestions? Or, rather, any USEFUL suggestions?

Does it update normally when opened in a full window? They appear to be using some homebrewed javascript page refresh code. It might be getting confused. Alternatively, are you using a script blocker without having all the proper permissions opened?

Good questions! ;)

I'll try a different browser on a different computer.

Looks like the auto update still works ok in Chrome on the computer with the Firefox problem.

Now to try on another computer.
