Over the weekend I read an article in a Canadian newspaper that a lot of Americans are convinced that the 9/11 terrorists came in through Canada. The fact is none came through Canada.

Lousy Democrats won't let this lie go.

I think it's more likely that the lead up to the Millenium plot and 9/11 get mixed up in people's minds. Canadian border security came up a lot in the aftermath of 9/11, and various talking heads would mention Ahmed Ressam, Abdel Hakim Tazayha, and Gazi Ibruhim Abumizer when discussing how easy it is to cross the border up there and how we need to crack down, etc...

Thanks aerocontrols. I had read the article on the Ottawa Citizen site ($) and didn't realize it was also on the Toronto Star's site (free) as well. I hate it when Grammatron tries to keep people honest by demanding sources.
