Well I watched this documentary on PBS last night, it was called "the education of Shelby Knox" about this girl growing up in Texas and having to deal with her very right wing community, I hunted down a forum discussing the film and its turned into church fest 2005.

I need some critical thinkers to help argue with these right wing christians, check out the link and jump into any topics that start to boil your blood.

I thought that the poster named "That's Bubba with a B" made some pretty good arguments in the thread
Was Shelby herself intolerant? . I grew up in a community that could often be both ignorant and intolerant, Utah. I think I understand the points made by the documentary from reading some of the posts. I would like to see the documentary before becoming involved. I'm sorry I missed it.
