I doubt that Herman Cain coincidentally having a last name which is the same as the first name of a Biblical figure would upset many people. Most people aren't going to hold something like that against him. They'll realize he had no real choice in the matter of what his parents last name would be. Give people a little credit for intelligence, please!

Yes, he cleverly turned it upside-down to deceive people. That's the kind of things a prince of lies would do. But even so it's hard to miss. Anti-Christ, anyone?

If you do a Google search on "Herman Cain" Anti-Christ you already get more than 600,000 hits. The top one is a question submitted to Yahoo Answers by Tea Party Hero: Is Herman Cain the Anti-Christ?

Right now, most people appear to be dismissing the possibility. But if there continue to be indications that Cain is the Anti-Christ and enough Republicans come to believe it's true, he could be a shoo-in for the nomination.

I don't know about the religious fanatics. Those who believe in Bottsrgeddon however don't believe that 2012 will be the end of the world. Instead, Bottsrgeddon will usher in the end of an era of oppression dating back to the end of the Second Punic War and the beginning of an age of unfettered freedom. Clearly, the politics of any one nation will not have any impact on this.

I know I'm a bit of a fusspot about things like this, but if this stuff's not been published, how do you know about it? Have the scientists published their advice to seek God's mercy, and their reasons for giving it, in a peer-reviewed journal, for example?

It wasn't published anywhere. Someone involved leaked the info, as you would expect given the shocking result, and it briefly existed as a rumour.

There is a complete blackout on the issue, but it looks that some contact with God might have been established, because God already considers a rescue mission that would save the continuance of human species past that horrible year of 2012. It is said that God gives us a sign of His Divine Intentions, and the sign has arrived by the presidential candidacy of Herman Cain. We know that when Cain killed Abel, he effectively wiped out 1/4 of human population. It follows that during the catastrophe of 2012, not all human species will perish - if Herman Cain makes it to the White House.

Craig, the world isn't turning according to the Bible where names are mentioned all the time, coz there is no fear of negative consequence. Just look what's in Tucson Citizen or Fox Business to name a couple of media.

Quite aside from possible anti-Christery... Cain has endeared himself to the "99%" Occupy Wall Street crown by his statement that if one is poor one should merely go out and get a job...
In fact, most of the Republican candidates-to-be seem to be dissing the movement rather badly; Gingrich was nasty as well.
I feel these folks are utterly removed from the actual mood of the nation.
