Not while he was a sitting president. You can't prosecute a president while in office. You can impeach him or her and then prosecute. This from the "what I learned about wasteful investigations and oral sex in the White House" scandal.

Not imprisoned, no. I don't know if any former president has ever been arrested for minor charges and held but it has not happened in the modern era and I doubt it has happened in history.

Wasteful investigations? If it taught you those two facts then surely it's less wasteful than half the money spent on education where the students learn nothing buy how to sleep in class.

Cheney’s aide Hannah also has been reported to have been involved in the leaking. And Ari Fletcher may be in trouble too as he reportedly denied having seen the classified memo that had Plame’s classified status in it but a "former administration official" (Powell?) stated that he saw Fletcher reading the memo during the critical leak time frame.

With Meirs as the latest piece of evidence, I am having a great deal of trouble differentiating between "key officials" and "friends". Loyalty is not AN important value to Shrub, it is the ONLY value.

Jack Abramoff
David H. Safavian
Stephen Hadley
Condeleeza Rice
Andrew Card
Alberto Gonzales
Mary Matalin
Ari Fleischer
Susan Ralston
John Hannah
Scott McClellan and
Big Dick Cheney

Of course these are only the merry men - if they were all imprisoned the only hood left in the White House would be the one that's been Robin us all.
