Britney Spears responds to altar call
Singer, mother reportedly cry, hug during emotional church service

Pop singer Britney Spears has reportedly attended a church service where she and her mother cried, hugged and responded to an altar call.

According to a report in Scottish newspaper the Daily Record, Spears and her mom, Lynne, stopped by the service at the Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, Calif., near Los Angeles, on the way to a photo-shoot.

The report states a television crew was filming the service, and some speculated Spears was merely trying to get publicity.

Sheesh how cynical and untrusting! She was probably just looking for spiritual consolation after the heartbreaking annulment of her recent 'almost no time to have sex' marriage.

Wasn't this always part of her schtick? I recall reading this about her when she was still a B-cup.

That roving camera crew was handy! Maybe they were filming a music video.

Yeah, she's always claimed to be some kind of Christian. This isn't anything shockingly new.

Why should it matter...unless, of course, if its a sign of the impending apocolyps...Oh my god, the rapture is (pooof....)

I've known a number of people who had thoroughly fried their brains, and then became "born again." Afterwords, they walked around with fried brains and goofy grins.

Riddick, you're my f-ing hero. And I know you won't mind me saying that. Almost every post I see by you has some new ascii art of flipping the bird.

You're a very funny Christian.

From his inability to read, comprehend, or present evidence to validate his arguments and resort to finger ascii art, I wouldn't be surprised.

pupdog's statement and Riddick's reply's juxapose themselves ironically.

I had no idea it was an ASCII art...

Personally, I like this version of the bird: ‹^›

It could just be an excuse for a wet T-shirt exhibition during the baptism. She's not that innocent.
