Greece pleads for bail out with conditions. She hopes for no or few conditions. Germany is :rule10ed that Greece can even consider even peeping aboutconditions.

Many of these European countries had a more lax attitude (Greece) than others (Germany) when the EU formed. I don't think they thought this through enough when the Union was formed, and now this lack of thought is blowing up in their collective faces.

I understand the Greece situation has caused the fall of the Euro and rise of the Dollar.

this is GREAT for me. im going to Europe in July, and Im hoping the Euro will go down to at least $1.25.

:)

Certain US states, coughcaliforniacough, are trying the same BS with the federal government. "We really tried to cut and cut, but our voters won't let us cut anymore, so pleeeeeeeeeze can we have some money?"

No, GTFO!

Thank god we expanded the EU with Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and that dark region from which nobody has ever returned alive, but is rumoured to be populated by cannibalistic dwarves and one-eyed giants.

I must have missed the memos about these matters. Silly me.

I'm sure the people of Europe will be consulted about Turkey joining in a transparent and democratic way.
