Bliar - The Devil Made Me Do it

So, to put it in simpler to understand terms, he is totally irresponsible. That about it?

Well I voted for him. But I did look at the alternatives and cried a bit first.

The BBC link has a portion of the actual interview. I transcribed part of it by hand because I think the context is lending some confusion and Blair is being misquoted a little.
Blair - "In the end, there is a judgment that, well... I think if you have faith about these things, then you realize that judgment is made by the people... ahem...

Interviewer - (interjection) What do you mean by that?

Blair - I mean by the people by... if you believe in God it's made by God as well.
So it seems like his complete thought, if he were not interrupted, would be that he feels his decisions are judged by the people, and ultimately God as well.

This does not seem like all that big a deal to me. Certainly not in the same caliber of statements as saying God guided him to go to war.

Now later in the interview, I do think he responds in a way I would describe as evasive. When asked a specific question about if he prayed with GWB at his ranch in Texas, he answers that he does not pray with Bush. That is an answer to a question, but not the one that was asked. Nice to see politicians speak pretty much the same language the world over...
