If you can get a strong "But I'll screw the people who screwed you (or who you want to think screwed you, or who you've always hated but can use this as an excuse to screw over) even more" message into the subtext as Trump did, then yeah it absolutely can work and did work in 2016.

Trump did NOT win 2016 on a "I will save the rural areas" message. He won it on a "I will punish the people who didn't get screwed over because how dare they" message. Trump was never the rural area's savior, he was a convenient bag of burning dog poop to put on everyone else's porch.

As to how much it's working this time... time will tell. Hopefully not as well.

He didn't "win" on his message either. He didn't move the dial much from McCain's and Mitten's numbers, showing that the absolute ceiling for the republicans is 60,000,000 and shrinking. He "won" because the republicans, seeing that Hilary Clinton was vulnerable organised the biggest voter disenfranchisement system in the history of the state, bigger than pre-CRA Jim Crow, almost as big as slavery.

2020 ÷ 666 = 3.0330

1) Finally, a candidate who knows who's really pulling the strings
2) 30330 is the metro Atlanta zip code, so that means...something
C) Numbers are fun
4) It was the only number they could get
5) They picked 30330 just to troll you
6) Who cares?

ROFLMAO. Seriously Chris? Why would or should we care about this? Remember this? RONALD (6) WILSON (6) REAGAN (6) or 666.

You can play with numbers all you want. But this is only silly superstitious nonsense.

Numerology?! I guess Trumpanzees are superstitious in more ways than one.

Oh, you wanna play the 666 card? You should compare notes with the author of this page and see what you come up with. . .

An excerpt:

(1) The Trumps purchased the most expensive building ever bought in the US, at 666 Fifth Avenue, a street symbolic of hubris, greed and money (Mammon).

(2) The Trumps paid $1.8 billion for the 666 tower. And 18 = 3*6 = 666. The 666 tower was bought by Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. Kush was the patriarch of Babylon, the son of the cursed Ham, and the father of Nimrod who created of the Tower of Babel.

(3) According to multiple reports, the famous Trump Tower is 203 meters tall. And 203 meters = 666 feet. The Trump penthouse is on the 66th floor.

(4) The Trumps are also in the process of building a $666 million tower at One Journal Square. According to multiple reports the height will be 666 feet.

(5) In Trump's first fiscal year which started in 2016 (2016 = 666+666+666+6+6+6) the budget deficit exploded to 666 billion dollars (per Fox Business). Trump tweeted his congratulations for the budget passage on October 27, 2017. The bavister.org Julian Date calculator confirms that a Julian date of 6666 translates to the date of Trump's tweet.

Confirmed: Trump is the Antichrist . . . or at least one of them.

Then what is your argument, exactly? If I've misread it, I'd like to get it right.
My initial point was that when asking are you better off than blahblahblah, for many, there are metrics beyond the pocketbook. This is reflected by Biden's lead in the polls, I think, though it may not matter electorally. I understand that many vote their pocketbook; I've been involved in politics since I was first eligible to vote in 1976, so this is far from my first rodeo. In my first post on this subject, I should have typed that the country is worse off rather than "we're" worse off, if only for clarity. I say this because I can think of no metric in which 9,549,011 people contracting COVID-19, and 236,893 perishing from it can in any way be honestly, objectively termed "better off." But I also realize people do that, and will vote their feelings.

I never bothered posting in politics very much before Trump was elected, mostly because you don't change many minds very often, and all it ever seems to accomplish is to make one a bit flustered. But I dislike Trump intensely, and have to vent every now and again. I'm hoping that after this election I won't have to bother anymore, but that hope is fading. Two weeks ago I was confident he was out, but now I'm thinking he's getting the electoral college.

7) The math is wrong. 2020/666 = 3.(033)repeating, not 3.0330.

Here is, I think, the monkey wrench in all of this that explains why we talking around each other to some degree.

The "average" voter (in as much as such a thing exists) doesn't put nearly anywhere near this much logical thought into who they are voting for. It's a visceral, emotional, gut decision that they then rationalize reasons on top of to justify.

Also, there is an important thing that happens pretty much all the time and certainly happened last time:

Republicans vote Republican
Democrats vote Democrat

You can stick a Democrat or Republican badge on a steaming pile of feces, and it won't change the voting habits of either.

In fact the Republicans are doing that right now (LOL! had to say it), and seriously, the Democrats would do exactly the same.

I dunno. I'm an independent as is my wife, and we've voted against Trump both times, but the interesting thing is that my sons-in-law are Republicans and both have voted for Biden. Or so they swear.

I've voted Republican in most elections up until 2016. Then I voted third-party. I'm not doing that this year. I already voted Biden.

7) The math is wrong. 2020/666 = 3.(033)repeating, not 3.0330.

No you are wrong, the math is correct 2020 ÷ 666 = 3.0330303303033030330

It is "30330" to infinity after the first "3.0330" not just 3."033" repeating.

This brought to you and chosen by a campaign that is highly symbolic in everything it does. EX:The recent Warm Springs GA Biden rally to reassure "healing" etc. Perhaps just an odd thing to happen by accident that no expert in the Biden camp happened to notice....A campaign that evidently does not focus on numbers.

The device you are using to post has a calculator built in. I suggest you try using and see.

You're so full of ****. But you're right on the math.

"30330" is definitely brought to you by the Biden Presidential campaign.

Superstition and or dog whistle.

Imagine the comments if the Trump campaign had chosen "111111" for a campaign text number. ;)
