I was listening to my favorite Paranormal podcast Mysterious Universe(it's good for a laugh) and recently they had this guy called David Eckhart on talking about his countless abduction experiences.

During the interview he said two things that jumped out at me.

One he stated that he couldn't debunk the images or he doubts people can debunk the images

Two, he needs more high tech equipment to capture the entities of film.

This is the best Evidence of an Alien

You might just meh this away but he has picked up a deal with NBC to do a show about his experiences and mostly because of this photo.

From Phantoms and monsters blog

It's quiet a read if you go through all the articles the writer for Phantoms and monsters has about this subject, who knows maybe you'll become a believer too!

What are we supposed to see in the video? The little thing in the door that looks like a doll or something?

I missed it the first time. To me, it's odd that it's standing still for so long. There's some movement, but if this a time-lapse video, then they could have posed it between shots.

This could be some kind of doll or life-sized puppet. If this is the best evidence, then they need to get some better video equipment.

The shows called "fact or faked"
Eckart is probably in the faked section. I've seen better videos of aliens on Nickleodeon
:p

They look like boys toys to me. (I can't remember all the toys/figurines from my lads childhoods, but you know th etype, metallic R2D2 type figures etc)

I find it hard to believe the video - the 'alien' only moves in position, but none of its limbs move or bend, and it moves very slowly. Looks more like a poor quality fake to me.

Eureka! I saw a post about it on the Mysteriously Universe but I didn't put 2 to 2 together

the video in the promo

I think it's a marionette due to the long black object hanging above it, and what looks like the stairs just outside the door.

We have 2 of these at home ,they're called Manikins and are bought in a artist's supply store, adjustable limbs, sold in various sizes and various prices[oh no...did I just say that?].But then again it could be a REAL ALIEN.

I considered that, but how stupid would you have to be when filming a fake alien to include the airplane (Marionette control) in the picture, besides which its the wrong shape.

The long black object is most probably a negative reflection from one of the door panels, (the detail isn't great but you can see the door is one of these)

it appears to move because someone opens the door slightly to allow the figure better access, which is odd because the Alien is already allegedly moving through the door. Stupid Alien, didn't realise there wasn't enough room for it to move through the door.

So this is one of those stupid low tech aliens
1. can be spotted by radar
2. tries to remain secret by having strobe lights all over the spaceship
3. cannot guage door width, didn't pass geometry
4. only fools woos
:D

To me, it appeared that the video was time compressed, and that the "alien" was simply a shadow moving progressively across the door as the morning sun rose.

I've seen videos of "aliens". They look too human not to be from earth. If we ever discover aliens they won't look anything like a human being. Theres just too many other ways they could look.

I saw Fact Or Faked on SyFy this weekend. They have 6 "experts" look at video clips and decide which to investigate. The episode "Burning Rubber / Hyperjump" had the clip in question but they decided not to investigate. One expert thought it might be a child and another one said someone could be pushing something into the doorway on a stick. They did not completely dismiss it. It sounded like they may investigate on a later episode. It's available on Hulu and the clip comes on at about 3:30.
The show was a little better than expected. They did not assume paranormal as the default and they did go to some effort to try and replicate the videos using mundane means. Still, they did find something "unexplainable" in the first show.

This is another one of those shows that you need to look at the credentials of the people in the cast.
The "scientist" is a producer of paranormal shows, paranormal researcher and promoter of the franks box/telephone to the dead (he owns several)
