I have been reading the origins and science forum on christianity.com lately. The thing I most notice is that many of these Christians have never done any scholarly work on their own Bible.
For instance, many of them were suprised that Red Sea was a translation error, many of them still think Moses wrote Genesis, some of them have no idea that the original KJV had the order of the kings wrong in different books.
It occurs to me that along the lines of talkorigins and badastrology.org, maybe there should be a badtheology.org.
Some of these people don't even realize what the firmament was and why a literal interpretation of Genesis means you have to believe the earth is flat with a hard dome on it.
Seriously, there are so many of these misconceptions that I can't believe there hasn't been an attempt yet to collate a FAQ for them in one place.
If there is one, please point it out to me.
