Flew into St. Louis -> 6 degrees outside. Took forever to get my luggage; I think they had one person unloading the whole plane. Had to break the ice off to get my wipers free.

Plane left at 4 PM PT, 2.5 hour flight. Got home at 11 PM CT, and had some ramen.

Oh, yeah... the meeting:

AWESOME

but that'll be another post cuz I'm exhausted and sipping cocoa awaiting South Park the Movie.

Crossed Luciana running frantically through the airport. Hope she made her plane. Dinner with BN at the tapas place was a highlight. But there were many highlights. Hope I can find somebody to host my photos.

More later.

Well, I just got back to my little cosy pad...and to say I'm exhausted is an understatement. I need to stay awake...must drink more coffeeeeee....

Sooo...sleeepppy....and I've now got a sore throat from too much...partying (?).

AND I start work again tomorrow morning.

For those folk I didn't say goodbye to, I apologise. It was hard enough to get rid of me; I had an hour where I was walking out of the door. I also missed Tricky (and Mrs. Tricky), and Luciana. So, Luciana, here is my hug in text format, to be saved and exchanged at TAM4.

*hug*

Made it to Boston (shared a crowded flight with Paul C. Anagnostopoulous), drove through blinding snow to get home...
Thanks for sharing the cab, Athon. Thanks for the goodbyes, everyone but Mr. & Ms. Tricky, who managed to sneak away without their hugs and kisses...you will be the envy of all.

Coffee.....

So sorry. We missed everyone (except Luciana, with whom we shared a flight) and Shane. I knew that if I didn't take her for a gondola ride before we left, my ass was grass. We did. It was fun.

I've got lots of piccies, but no place to put them. I can't seem to resize them enough to include without turning them into crap.

I woke up this morning so happy to see my family, but then . . . no sugar blobs to eat for breakfast, no greeting all my forum and other TAM friends, no superlative speakers to listen to. Serious withdrawal, folks.

I was glad to sit in the airport with Mercutio, and ride with him on the flight back to Boston.

Sooper special thanks to everyone who gave me a birthday gift. I have T-shirts and chocolate and beer and saki.

The conference was astounding, and the magic was magical. One of the unexpectedly good speakers of the event was Dr. Richard Wiseman.

Thanks to all for a truly amazing four days.

we made it home safely yesterday, flew into snow and then had to wait an hour for our bags :(

the animals were glad to see us. sorry we couldn't say goodbye to everyone.

I had a lot of fun

Uneventful trip home, 20 degrees here though. Dogs were very happy to see me. :)

Sorry, I didn't get to chitchat with everyone, hard to do with 60 people. Next year!

I made it to Rio, Tricky! That was close!

The flight from Texas to Houston was delayed one hour. That meant I'd arrive at 8:45pm and the other plane departed at 9:10pm, at another terminal!!! Fortunately, the pilot made up for the wasted time, and we got to Houston at 8:15pm, thus even giving me enough time to get lost in the airport. And oh yeah, the gate number changed three times!

It took me 20 minutes, brisk walk, to reach my gate. Well, it just added more fun to the ride! :D

I'm back too! :D I think I have finally caught up on my sleep. I was averaging about 4 hours a night.

Words aren't enough to let everyone that I met from the forum know that it was my pleasure to meet you! I had such a great time hanging out with all of you! :D

I'm going to be putting up the Pink Sheet thread to gather some suggestions for next year's TAM conference.

I´m back, too - Tuesday 1:30 PM CET. I´m never flying American Airways again. 5 hours late on the way to TAM, 2 hours late on the way back.

I met Unrepentant Sinner and Jamie at the Terminal, gate D8, though, and we had a nice last talk.

Sorry to those I didn't get a chance to say goodbye too. It was a long day yesterday getting back. I'm supposed to be going to work right now...

Last night I flew into Calgary at 11 p.m. In Red Deer there was Freezing rain. I never encountered that before. The roads were slicker than any ice rink I've ever been too. We couldn't go down a road with any type of incline. We resorted to back alleys and aiming for snow to get traction. Got stuck once in a middle of a road, rolled back to where we came from. I couldn't even walk on the road (landed harder on my face than when I fell off the bed during the pillow fight at TAM landed me on my back). So we got back to the house about 1:30 a.m.

Right now (6:25 a.m.) I'm watching people slide through the stop sign in front of my place. Hmmmm.

Glad to see others here made it back safe and sound!

Chaos, and anyone else with awesome pics (Electric Monk, etc.), please email me at eostory@shaw.ca. I'm really looking forward to seeing the one with Patrick Stewart ;)

I have 700 unread emails to delete. There is a downside to the email type lists!

My flight was an hour later than I planned, but my flight was a whopping two hours - and in light of your and others 10-20 hour flight plans, I decided to STFU about them.

And it was great to meet up with you in the departure terminal to put a nice punkt on my TAM experience. Auf Weidersehen mein freund. :)

Well, my flight went off as scheduled--got into Birmingham five minutes early and was home by 6PM.

Took EOS to the airport (hope she got her window seat) and presume shanek got over his 'red-eye' flight schedule.

Southwest is not perfect, but it sure fit my schedule perfectly this time.

Just got back to civilization, as well.

Although I'm fighting to stay awake, I think I've figured out how to get Yahoo to host some of my pictures.

Hi Hutch, and Thank you Again. I napped a bit at the airport, and got my window seat. I got to stare at the land below until my eyes went buggy and the cloud cover started about an hour after take-off. I couldn't get enough of watching the canyons and seeing the paths the water etches in that so Barren looking land.

I just called work, and they said to wait until the sun is up before coming in. That means I have to get ready for work now!

TTYL :)
