Arrests in Berg beheading?

Four people were arrested over the beheading of US businessman Nicholas Berg, an Iraqi source said, as top officials at the funeral of Iraq's slain Governing Council president vowed not to cave in to terrorists.

The source said four people were held over Berg's murder in a possible breakthrough in the US-led battle against extremists that have been trying to undermine efforts to transfer sovereignty to Iraqis on June 30.

But Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt, deputy director of operations, said: "We have no information from the coalition that any arrests were made."

As your source said, this was denied at the time.

But according to the BBC , four people were arrested, and two are still being detained.

These aren't all mutually compatible, or are they? Anyway, these hasty arrests do not appear to be going anywhere quick. Just like the Muslim-convert lawyer released today in Madrid after suspicion of involvement in the March 11th bombings.

(CNN) -- Coalition forces apprehended four people in connection with the beheading of U.S. businessman Nicholas Berg, a military coalition official said Friday, but have since released two of them.

The senior official said the two remaining might be released after more questioning. He provided no further details.

Has his father said anything about a post-mortem examination?

And where is his head? Has it been found yet?
