On my Samsung Galaxy Y, the desktop icons have have text underneath them. There's a few problems with this:
1. It's redundant, I know what the icons do
2. The text has a crappy dark oval background
3. For some icons, the text is too big for the background and cuts off
I used ADWLauncher to remove the text but I just updated the App and the stupid piece of **** went and forgot all my icon placements.
Is there an App that does nothing more than remove the text? Failing that, is there an App to reduce the font size of the desktop icon text?
(As a side note, the icon text on the App drawers does not have the dark oval background and looks fine)
