This didn't take long, but it never does. I was just browsing the latest Snopes posts.

Halyna Hutchins was assassinated because her next project was a documentary about Hollywood's pedophile underground.

Halyna Hutchins was assassinated because she was about to release information that would lead to Hillary Clinton's arrest.

On Oct. 21, 2021, Halyna Hutchins, director of photography on the movie “Rust,” was killed when a prop gun misfired on set. In the days that followed, a rumor was circulated on social media claiming that Hutchins had posted “I have information that will lead to Hillary Clinton’s arrest” on Twitter shortly before her death.

Now that's the good stuff. I knew it was only a matter of time. Fox News was running same lame crap about Baldwin's anti-gun and anti-Trump stances, but I don't want to hear right winger drivel unless the Clinton Crime Family is involved.
 
I was expecting a claim that one of the striking union guys planted a live round to make the site look unsafe. Going full-on Q-tip is refreshingly creative.

I mean, come on, pedophiles, Clintons? What is it, rerun season for CTs too? Didn't they just block a canal with a container ship? While Thermal's thought had flashed trough my mind, for just a second, when I first heard about the accident and the people walking out before. At least that changes things up a bit and goes back to the historical tropes of deaminizing unions and dissatisfied workers.
 
It’s always information that will lead to Clinton’s arrest. The entire faked up “Clinton Death List” claimed people were killed just as they were about to reveal info that would have the Clintons arrested. Can’t these people come with anything new?

Quite a stunning amount of things had to go wrong for a bullet to end up in a "cold" prop gun, though. Occam's Razor might actually lean towards a lone ******* (not a conspiracy of organized labor) who was pissed about losing his pay.
 
Apparently a bunch of silly people on set had been using the same gun to go play at being hunters or sharpshooters or something out in the desert in the lunch breaks. It's a real gun, so someone put real bullets in it. So it MAY have been "safe" the last time the armorer saw it, but not so much after it was returned after the break.

Short version: Dickheads with guns.

Was it actually a bullet? While a cold gun shouldn't even have blank in it. Lack of expertise (someone filling in) or simply distraction about other concerns can often result in poor safety performance.

There's a whole thread to discuss the particulars of this workplace fatality. This thread should be more narrowly focused on conspiracy theories, not what actually happened.

It was a real bullet. It went through Hutchins and also injured the person behind her. Reporting was there were more real bullets still in the gun.
 
To avoid spreading conspiracy theories and death:

When you are a cinematographer and a director... DON'T stand in direct straight line behind the camera an actor is aiming their gun at for effect. Be off center, not in the line of fire.

Well, if we assume, as Truthers like to, that no safety protocols are ever less than perfectly enforced, then we have to conclude that it wasn't a bullet. The sound of the gunshot could easily be faked with the post-production sound effect gear present on every movie set, so the only question is, what caused the fatal injury? There are two obvious possibilities. The first is that this is the latest MK-ULTRA psyop weapon: a fake gun that presents so convincing a sound and appearance that the victim literally dies from the psychosomatic injuries inflicted; in fact, one might reasonably conclude that the gun itself didn't exist, but was simply a holographic construct that Baldwin was persuaded to believe that he was actually handling. The second, of course, is that UN scientists have at last weaponised the technology salvaged from the Roswell spacecraft to produce a controllable destructive beam weapon, and this was a semi-secret demonstration to intimidate those in the know while hiding its effects in plain sight from the ignorant majority.

It's just simple logic.

I just don't get what's not working in these CTers brains.

If you want to kill this lady why go through a contrived process that would get rejected as a script idea for "Murder She Wrote" or "Columbo".

Why not off her at a bank machine or in a parking garage and let the cops chock it up as just one more robbery/knifing they'll never solve?

Not only does the husband of the cinematographer killed by Alec Baldwin currently work at the law firm representing Michael Sussman, recently indicted by John Durham.

But prior to that he worked at....Kirkland & Ellis, with former AG Bill Barr.
