Al Qaeda No. 2: Attacks on Western nations in works

Responding to a question of whether the terror group had plans to attack Western countries that participated in the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq and subsequent war, al-Zawahiri said, "My answer is, yes. We think that any country that joined aggression on Muslims must be deterred."

*snip*

Al-Zawahiri also denied a conspiracy theory that Israel carried out the September 11, 2001, attacks on the U.S., and he blamed Iran and Shiite Hezbollah for spreading the idea to discredit the Sunni al Qaeda's achievement.

*snip*

"Iran's aim here is also clear -- to cover up its involvement with America in invading the homes of Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq," he added. Iran cooperated with the United States in the 2001 U.S. assault on Afghanistan that toppled the Taliban, an al Qaeda ally.

Looks like involvement in the Middle East may be the reason [again] for another 9/11. But thanks to the Neocons, at least Iraq may not be a safe haven for Al Qaida for hundred years. And who is Osama and the rising Taliban anyway? :

If someone actually stumbles over the unedited Transcript/Tape of Al-Zawahiri's speech, feel free to post it.

I get the feeling that Al Z is feeling a bit persecuted. Oh, those rascally Iranians, making back room deals with those nasty Americans in their own interest.

Sucks to be him. Someone needs to translate into Arabic the following, and email it to him:

Politics makes for strange bedfellows.

Looks like the only thing al Zawahiri has in common with normal people is he's fed up with September 11 truthers.

Poor poor AQ, they are just an innocent little bunch of misunderstood Muslims... If only America would stop being so bad, they might love us.

Watch out, they might coddle you to death one day! :D

Is it just me, or is there an undercurrent of desperation in this latest rant from Al Z?

Al Zawahiri's can piss off. A brilliant and well-renowned surgeon turned into a psychopathic bully.

If there was ever a wasted potential, it was this twat.

Oliver, foreign policy is not what is making them do this. What were Ziad Jarrah's last words?

"Dog Bites Man."

Oh, wait. I forgot the thread: "Dog Bites Man. Primarily Fault of U.S."

Feel free to discuss the dog's tie to prominent neo-cons.

as i already pointed out and asked in that other forum...

After the release of osama bin laden video in the 6th anniversary of 9/11 which shows a still frame and a voice over (into 17 minutes or so), any reason why we should trust the videos allegedly released by al qaeda?

O_O I can make out some of that! I don't know what the words mean individually, but my study into Farsi is making headway I haven't noticed until now :D

#EDIT: Let me spell it out phonetically, tell me if I'm close/right?

Sa-deh-sa-haa soh-teh noo behd-gah-(unknown letter)-voh-voh (letter unknown) ra-behn.

(Farsi/Arabic read right to left, my phonetics left to right hehe)
