Achau Nguyen Challenges! (again)

Achau Nguyen who will be known as a previous challenger, is about to have another go!

His prior attempt and details are covered in the above thread and alsothis one.

I have been e mailed by Achau, who tells me that he is simultaneously challenging for the JREF million, a prize from some group, IIG West and also for the NZ challenge! He's obviously got his work cut out at the moment.

I have few details as I intend to carry out all discussions with Achau in a public forum, here. He will be posting his challenge details in the next day or so, apparently - I will update when he does so. He hasn't advised me what style his challenge will be taking and we have discussed no protocols, but I'm guessing it will be related to his undisplayed, extant "powers".

Now, I do have great respect for Achau, because he's proven that he will submit to testing instead of just mouthing claims and he's putting his money where his mouth is by flying to mainland USA for preliminary test by IIG West. (I think).

I've invited him to come and post his details in here as well as he seem to think that he has a challenge under way with JREF. No doubt Jeff can confirm the status of Achau's challenge if he so desires.

Anyway, now we can wait for him to show up and let us in on the secret.

The only difficulty I can see with a multi-challenge is around recording rights, but as that issue will only raise its head at an actual challenge, I'm just letting it ride at the moment.

Last time Achau took a preliminary test he scored 0/30. I'm guessing he is on a different track this time.

Damn right. How can you help but admire a bloke who stands up to be counted?

Compare Achau with the clowns currently dribbling around this forum - Buzz, Edge, Dargo et al - they're a bunch of buffoons with lots of talk and no action. Achau is totally honourable and I'm looking forward to finally dealing with someone with the balls to have a go!

As one of the people involved with setting up the protocol & tests, I can attest that Achau was quite sincere & a nice fellow to work with, esp. compared to the recent trolls who feign attempts at the challenge. I wish him the best of luck...

Cool! I hope that the change in the Challenge rules doesn't preclude him from applying at JREF. Then again, though, it'll be really neat to follow his protocol & tests for other challenges (which would, of course, qualify him for the MDC -- if he passes).

Achau received this e mail confirming his status as applicant to JREF:

Yes, we’ll accept a re-testing, if the CFIW people are willing. No re-application necessary.

As regards the preliminary test, plans appear to be well under way:

We are willing to test you again under the same conditions.

Please give us an address where we can send release forms and the outline of how the test will be conducted so that all involved will be on the same page.

Also, please test yourself with under the same conditions before arranging for any travel to Los Angeles. There's no sense in coming here if you can't pass your own test at home.

We look forward to hearing from you.

At this stage, I have no idea what test/claim is being made, so I will update as it all starts happening.

I understand that Achau is travelling to Ca. within the next month to undertake preliminary testing.

the thing about Achau is that he's actually willing to be tested, and doesn't drag on the process forever. He participated in the protocol discussion, agreed to a protocol, and did it. I am extremely interested to see him try again, and to see where the testing will go. I have a lot of admiration for Achau, because he actually stands up to be counted.

And, btw, I did report your post, TA, for your language. It's not that I disagree in principle (at all) with what you're saying to Buzz, but your language is over the line insofar as the membership agreement is concerned. Having said that, I will also report Buzz if, as you say, he tries to hijack this thread into yet another debate as to whether the rocks of the world are the remains of reptiles, his completely inaccurate understanding of Egyptian history, etc, etc, etc.

Looks to me as though he's doing a twenty-word list and he's set himself a pass mark of 18/20.

The home-test has been repeatedly stressed to him, so I can only assume his powers are working at peak at the moment.

So it'll be the same as his original test, only he's changed the pass mark to 18 of 20 instead of 19 of 20.

In his response to the test, he says:

...I must admit I was really upset, not of any of you guys though, but at my recipient, (E.) I know he didnt even try to put an effort to help me out, everything he wrote was straight out of his ass, Im sorry to say.

Unfortunately, I don't know, but I'm hoping that Achau will start posting soon so we can discuss the actual test!

Just to put a couple of facts in front of you, Buzz:

One - I'm not testing anyone. If you read my post, CFIW are doing the preliminary testing.

Two - The thread hasn't been censored in any way. Those posts have been transferred to AAH and are visible to anyone wanting to see them.

I'd like to add that those posts weren't moved because they contained information germane to Achau's test. In fact, they were moved (in part) because they specifically did not. So it is disingenuous to suggest that this thread will be "censored" to somehow interfere with actual, genuine discussion of Achau's test and its particulars.

Yeah, but only if one chooses to incorporate logic and reason. Both do not seem to play to Mr. lightyear's strengths.
