Of all the people to survive the 7/7 attacks, Danny Biddle is in some ways the luckiest of them all. He was only 18 inches away from Mohammad Siddique Kahn, he watched Mr Kahn reach into the rucksack and calmly detonate his bomb.

Like 9/11 there are many conspiracy theories about 7/7, some claim that bombs were planted UNDER the trains and that the men who 'officially' carried the attacks out could not have been there.

Danny Biddle saw with his own eyes, Mohammad Siddique Kahn, detonate a bomb in a rucksack. And he still gets flashbacks.

In the BBC article, there is an interview with him.

If anyone needs help debunking any 7/7 conspiracy theories, let me know, I've done quite a lot of research.

I see your location is yorkshire. That isn't by any chance near Beeston is it? Thus your research?

Beeston (and Leeds, are West Yorkshire, I'm in North Yorkshire, not too far away from York).

I'm not in Beeston that much, but I'm in Leeds A LOT, I was a student there for a few years.

I go clubbing at Leeds uni every month, I often drink out around Leeds, preferably around headingley. A mate of mine used to live in hyde park just round the corner from the house that was used as the bomb factory.

Through a friend who is a (now) reformed conspiracist, I started hearing loads of myths from Alex Jones's poison planet about the attacks. So I started doing my own research, and found that prison planet was massively distorting the facts. That set me on the road to becoming a full blown skeptic.

I'd really like to get into this more, as I believe (Whilst being devoid of political impact) July 7th (And subsequently 21st July) are such important things for us to understand if we are to make even a droplet of sense to our world.

I go on about it a lot here, but I couldn't believe it when I found out that born and bred British guys had done this. Then seeing Khan and Tanweer doing the matyr videos, in those deep yorkshire vowels, filled me with an insane feeling.

It's a tricky buisness July 7th and 21st, as whilst we succum to being pussies if we say "We must not feel hatred for these people, they were brainwashed", and thus not tough on terrorism,if we neglect the frightening reality that these guys most likely used to be very normal, kind guys before being radicalised, well, it's counterproductive. When the police investigation is over, there really needs to be another investigation to come to a consensus as to why normal British boys are turned into the wests first homegrown suicide bombers. You only have to look at the subsequent grief of the bombers family to know they had no idea what was going on (For example, Lindsay's mother weeping in that press conference). In a strange way, would the bombers families be the ultimate victims of the entire event, if you can put a scale on grief? To know they were behind the attack?

Diverting away from the CTers there, but those questions prove to me why it is so counterproductive for these conspiracies to mesh and fester, and twist reality, as you can pick more holes in something like july 7.

I came across this the other day, the 'stange' 'Bar through head' picture whichprovestehgvrementwozbehinditandevilnwo.

Debunk anyone?

Amongst the many things conspiracists do not understand, is that many security cameras have a low frame rate, that slow frame rate, can leave footage subject to motion blur. And that can create artifacts such as the 'bar' through the head they bang on about...

They also misrepresent details such as the timetable of trains from Luton to Kings Cross (for instance the financial outrage site http://www.financialoutrage.org.uk/thameslink_database.htm )

That same timetable shows that the 7.25am Luton to Kings Cross service, which arrived at Kings Cross at 8.23am DID run, though they don't really want people talking about that...

Is it confirmed the suicide bombers got on at the main Kings Cross complex? Because they arrived at Pancreas, and one of the CTers claim is that walking through the underground tunnel to kings cross is 6 minutes too long for their expected boarding times. Well, I go to Pancreas a lot because the library is just above it, and there is actually a tube station right next to the trains coming in from luton or whatever...literally a few seconds away in the same complex.. so... um...

They were filmed entering Kings Cross tube at 8.26am, and if they got into Kings Cross at 8.23am that time fits with the time table for connecting services between Luton and Kings Cross..

Is there any indication this movement is growing? It will be interesting to see what happens now that Blair is gone; Bush has a year and a half left to feed the fires of discontent.

I would assume the claims that Biddle wasn't really in the subway car have already started? These creeps are pretty predictable.

when the 21st july trial comes to an end, do we get a load more stuff about the 7th? Like Moussari?

She was featured on Jon Ronson's program on radio 4 a few weeks back, along with the terrifyingly mad sounding David Shayler. Unfortunately I don't think it's still available on the BBC website.

I suspect David Shayler suffers psychological damage from his ordeal in prison after he broke the official secrets act.

I've listened to the Jon Ronson programme you refer to, and yes he did sound terrifyingly mad.

Yeah, I also listened to the Jon Ronson program when it was linked on here a week or so ago. David Shayler is a total loon and I also find him incredibly annoying when he talks about his theories, it didn't surprise me in the least that Jon told him to [rule 8] off on air.

*snip*
Debunk anyone?
Debunk what?

That if you take a low quality picture, blow it up sufficiently, and play around with the colors, you can make some details look weird?

Sorry, no. I don't think there is any way to debunk that.

Hans

I can confirm this as a yes, kinda. There is information that has been suppressed by court order, that is a damning addition to a massive home office screw up that was exposed last year.

I know this because I've infrequently worked on the story in my capacity as a news editor.

Obviously I'm not going to say what it is, lest Lisa and Darat come and kick the rule8 out of me. Pretty much every journalist in London now knows this story, but no one can say anything till this is over.

The 'truthers' have already tried to make out that Rachel North, another survivor of the attacks doesn't exist and is instead a number of MI5 agents.

I mentioned Rachel here before, she posts on another forum I frequent, those who followed her ordeal will be pleased to hear that her psychotic stalker has been arrested thanks to the work of other bloggers Who sez this internet web stuff has no effect on this real world place some of you mention in passing.

Its funny (well not funny ha ha) but within hours of the papers finding out it caused the resignation of a cabinet minister. Essentially the media and downing street did one of those funny dances. I was cutting for the morning news and watched it unfold. Essentially the media was put in a position where it had dynamite news it couldn't report, the general attitude was literally "Damned if you think we're going to pretend we don't know this, and ignore it". Whitehall was forced to concede there had to be some form of Mea Cupla from the government, because while the press would sit on this, they would literally give no quater to the government if the government didn't acknowledge the screw up. The resignation was offered first thing that morning.

Truthfully I don't think its going to be that massive, with Brown now installed, and any vestiage of the ministers involved in this purged. Also the massive home office shake up and spliting up is a direct response to this, and the discovery of the relations between Khan and the fertiliser bombers. Essentially the government has had a couple of years so they can now say "look we've made all these changes since then".
