    Toothpaste worthless?

    Dental Wisdom, Freakonomics Blog by Stephen J. Dubner. Does anyone have any real data on the utility of toothpaste? I personally find the Freakonomics guys interesting, but they have been know to go off half-cocked with wrong information.
