term limits

Has anyone been following the latest attempt to have term limits enacted for Congress? The webpage is pretty shoddy at this time, but the Facebook page has some more well though out information. http://www.termlimitsforuscongress.com/...

I've heard an argument that term limits would make people more vulnerable to special interest groups. I personally think this is nonsensical, but what do others think?

The people passed two refererndums upholding term limits for elected officials in NYC. now the city council is supposedly going to over turn these referendums. arent these two referendums...laws? how can the city council just do away with them?
