The First Room-Temperature Superconductor Has Finally Been Found by Emily Conover
15°C? Brr. That's kind of cold. I like a room temperature of around 22°C myself.

Researchers discover new evidence of superconductivity at near room temperature
Now all you need to do is develop a new type of insulation for your superconducting wires. Surely that should be much easier than developing a room temperature...

This is amazing, wonder what happens if you hold a piece of paper or glass or metal between the object and the surface? Or how long is its maximum range currently and would it be dangerous for a person to be inside the "field"? Or how massive objects can this technology "lock...
As there is a long thread about room temperature superconductivity i asked myself, why does this discussion go for so long and why does the person not simply call up some energy company, show them the evidence and offer them his entire work for a mediocre sum - e.g. 1 billion. Then the question...
Someone sent me a link to this site about a South African physicist Dr. Johan Prins.

Not being a physicist I would appreciate any comments which might shed some light on what this is all about or not?
I have seen many references that show superconductivity being the specific elimination (i.e. zero) of electrical resistance.
My question is: how it is possible to eliminate electrical resistance?
