sideways

Mrs. Merc's Gateway Laptop is currently displaying everything rotated 90 degrees clockwise. I assume this is for some sort of display purposes, but it is annoying her, and neither of us know how to return it to being just a normal computer again. Help? I assume it is a simple software switch...
