I know that someone over in Russia claimed that the Solar Sail Crashed and then people were traking it. I also know that Japan recently test launched their own version of a Solar Sail. Could that be what they were traking over in Russia?
I just wanted to know why the first Cosmos 1 Solar Sail didn't work a year ago or sometime before that? I know that it fell back to Earth. Why did it fall back? Was there a mechanical problem with it?
I know that Cosmos Studios and the Babikin Space Center in Russia are going to launch a Solar Sail into space. They were talking about someday using lasers to propell the Solar Sail into space. I think that there should be a laser on the back of the Solar Sail that's aimed at the sails on it...
