Note to self: If you don't want to be beaten to death with a hammer, make sure to have plenty of toilet paper on hand!
A rather funny Bulgarian UFO video:

PS: The search engine didn't allow me to check if this video had already been discussed. When entering < UFO video >, it returned this:

Does anyone happen to have any photos of my presentation on Sunday?
I was thinking of adding a blurb about it to the StopKaz site, and it would be nice to have a pic to include. My girlfriend took some pics, but they came out pretty dark.
Anyway, if anyone has any pics of it, I would like to...

Yeah to some at the Vatican for standing up
Management theory specifies that change must be predicated on identifying and justifying the need for change, which consequently needs the collection of evidence. This new paper is a milestone for health care service providers. You will need Athens or similar for full text, so the plebs will...
Schlitz, Wiseman, Radin, and Watt presented a paper at the Parapsychological Association conference a couple of weeks ago. This is another paper in the series concerning the experimenter effect:
I've asked Richard Wiseman for a copy or a synopsis. Stay tuned.

In an "Ask Dr. Hecht column" the good doctor rips apart homeopathy. (ahem, disregard his recommendation of chiropractic as a possible option in the first question asked!)

Apologies to those without access to this paper.
I'm unsure about the copyright rules here so I'll tentatively quote this small passage from:
" E.A. Novikov. Modeling of consciousness. Chaos, Solitons and Fractals (article in press)"...
Living without God
My local paper is running a series this week on Religion. It was refreshing to see them dedicate a day to those who live without it. According to my local paper, "The Summit Daily", 78% of the 24,000 residents claim no religious affiliation.
I am not sure I would want to...
The pdf file and subsequent reasonably intelligent discussion is here:

This is a rushed but serious academic paper, which concludes that given the historical accuracy of exit polls the odds of the discrepancy between the exit polls and the...
From the home of the Gore family and the heart of plantation country...all is not going according to plan for Democrats.

Over the years, like many African Americans, we have met too many White liberals who were just...
I've been so busy lately and my genetics paper for Biology has slipped up on me. My topic is Sickle Cell Anemia. I need informational sources on it, please help!:hb:
I work in a graphics unit and I sit nearest to the printer.
Whenever someone comes to the printer and discovers it is out of paper they always (almost without fail) declare that they are the only one who EVER refills the paper.
I always think this is an interesting mundane everyday example of...
Just came across this reference:
Vincent C, Furnham A. Complementary Medicine: State of the evidence. Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine 1999;92:170-177.
It is being cited in clinical guidance issued by the UK's National Institute for Clinical Excfellence (NICE). The journal doesn't...
My parapsychologist friend from another forum submitted his paper for me to look at. I'm currently reviewing it, but the large amount of content (it's a term paper) is overwhelming me.
Take a look for yourself:

I'd have to go to the library to find reviews...
A couple of weeks ago I spotted a paper wasp making a nest under the eave on my balcony, I was surprised at how patient she was with me as I photographed her. I had the camera an inch away from her numerous times over the past week or two and on just a few occasions she started getting...
I found a link to this article on a homeopathy discution board. Has anyone come across it before? The only critism that I can come up with of the article is that it has not been peer revived. Other than that I'm stumped.

I have one friend that I can almost always beat at rock paper scissors, or at least tie. I haven't looked at it statistically, but we're talking like I win, or win after a series of ties, like 4 out of 5 games.
He swears it's telepathy, but as an agnostic I don't like that idea. I'm sure...
Why is it always the woo-woo belief that is credited with saving someone's life....and not the dedication and expertise of the medical staff. Not until the bottom of the article is there any mention of the Doctors and other staff, and that was only a tribute...the "credit" was given to paper...
