Last night I watched a documentary on an opera competition at the Met in NYC on PBS. I love Italian opera, but I'm not particularly well versed in the art. I've always loved Pagliacci, especially with Pavorotti, but have never been a big fan of the German operas, until last night.
I was very...

I use Opera, and find it great, except that there seems to be no inline spellchecker, so my posts are strewn with typos.
Apart form manual checking, is there a decent spellchecker for opera?
Opera's launched the beta of their next release of Opera - 9.5 (http://www.opera.com/download/?ver=9.50b) - I've been using the alpha builds over the last month or so and have found them quite stable until the last few builds and so far the beta is proving very stable.

Various things stopped working, e.g. on my Gmail account the Quick Contacts list broke...
When I have petfoodnstuff.com open in an Opera tab, the amount of cpu usage for Opera shoots up to almost 100% (100 minus whatever cpu is in use by other processes). Close the petfoodnstuff.com tab in Opera and Opera's cpu usage goes down to around 0%.
Very odd. I've tried logging off and on...
I thought I'd give Opera a try as some here say it's better than Firefox, but after installation I cannot connect to t'internet with it -

So 50,000 Christians are irate about “Gerry Springer: the Opera†shown on BBC2 last Saturday -- because it was perceived as blasphemous.
At least no-one was killed.
In the BBC2 Report on Fallujah shown 24 Nov 2004 the BBC Middle East Correspondent invoked a Christian narrative in line with...
Anyone familiar with IE knows that if you hover your cursor over images that link webpages, that the cursor will change to a hand and a small text box will pop up, giving the title or a rather concise explanation of what the link offers. However, in Opera, most image-links have a box that pops...
