    Mormons on NPR

Just listening to the NPR program on Mormonism. It's pretty slanted to a pro-Mormon position. A caller just got away with characterizing the history of the church as being unfairly persecuted by others. I suspect we won't hear anything about racism and massacres.

On The Media - Is NPR Biased

A great program on 'On The Media' discussing bias in reporting Is NPR Biased Basically they hired a guy, from PEW I think, to analyze NPR's coverage in comparison to the media as a whole. The transcript will be available tomorrow and I am sure there will be some interesting direct quotes but...

    NPR vs O'Keefe

Heard a great interview on NPR the other evening between Bob Garfield, cohost of the news program "On the Media," and conservative smear-artist James O'Keefe. O'Keefe attempts to justify outright fabrication: http://www.onthemedia.org/transcripts/2011/03/18/05

NPR is going to lose its funding

An NPR exec just fell for a James O'Keefe stunt, apparently, and in my opinion, this is perfectly timed to be used as ammunition in the NPR defunding fight that's going on right now. With the way Congress has reacted to this sort of thing in the past, I'd be very surprised if NPR is funded at...

NPR Listeners Recoil In Horror Over Airing Of Conservative Views

    Dawkins on NPR's Fresh Air

Good show. The question is, "are science and religion reconcilable?" Tomorrow, they're having on a microbiologist who claims to see "God's Plan" in DNA... The show was well handled. The host, Terri Gross, essentially just let Dawkins explain his ideas. I believe these are available from...
