I have just replaced a faulty mouse and then the keyboard that I thought was playing up has come back to life. Does this sound reasonable? I thought that the keyboard would not be affected by a faulty mouse. I have had a quick google and can't find anything amongst the many weird and wonderful...

I've been wondering this for a couple of days now. I don't think I've ever heard anyone use the word mice in reference to a plural of computer mouse.

It's still working and responding --- I'm controlling it with the keyboard. But no mouse pointer. Can anyone think what's happened or say how to get it back? Yes, I have tried rebooting the computer, and no, the mouse hasn't come unplugged. Thanks.

Apple has finally started selling a 2 button mouse, with a scroll pad and forward-back buttons. I guess this is a good step forward, but it comes with a price, $49, and it only fully works with tiger. I think I will stick with my trackball
