keyboard

I have just replaced a faulty mouse and then the keyboard that I thought was playing up has come back to life. Does this sound reasonable? I thought that the keyboard would not be affected by a faulty mouse. I have had a quick google and can't find anything amongst the many weird and wonderful...

I just got a new multimedia keyboard which is really slick. There is an option to plug it in using either a USB port or the dedicated keyboard port which I think is called a PS/2. Is there any advantage of using the USB over the PS/2? I've tried it both ways and haven't noticed any...

Eeew! Just turne me old trusty (if slightly non-deterministic) keyboard upside down and and knocked the backside a bit. You don't wanna know what my desk looked like afterwards :eek: . Maybe it wll now make fewer spelling misteaks. Hans

My roommate just got a contract to do some translation and needs to type in cyrillic... Anyone know how to do this in Microsoft Word? I'm expecting to pick up a second keyboard for her to use, but don't know how to set up Word to use the characters... Or would such a keyboard come with...
