A recent B.C. comic referenced the coexistence of humans and dinosaurs, a Brontosaurus, and Ken Ham. ....I'm completely confused.
I know about the recent report on possibly returning Brontosaurus as a separate genus. I know the current B.C. author doesn't have the strong religious messages...
Ken Ham's Creationist Noah's Ark replica, "The Ark Encounter" has only raised $3 million in the past year. They still need $12 million to open in 2016.
Meanwhile, online cartoon, The Oatmeal's "Exploding Kittens" card game Kickstarter just raised $2.7 million in two days.
Kittens > Bible.
Some good news on this front:

Poor Ken Ham. The mean, intolerant state of Kentucky is persecuting him by not forking over millions of dollars so he can build his Creationist theme park. Why does the state of Kentucky hate Real Christians? They want to force him to follow non-discriminatory hiring practices if the park is to...

Yes, please. This must happen.
Pat Robertson's apostasy can be summed as follows:
Good point, Ken Ham. If we start believing the earth is billions of years old, then it definitely calls into question a literal interpretation of the bible.

The debate will be on Feb. 4th at that zoo Ham infests. Aron-Ra plans to attend. :D
I did a blog post recently about the apparent financial troubles of the Creation Museum in Kentucky - http://skepticalteacher.wordpress.com/2013/06/23/creation-museum-running-out-of-cash-and-going-extinct/ - and somehow Ken Ham, the director of the Creation Museum, got hold of it. He was not...
A new article published by Answers in Genesis (AiG), which operates the Creation Museum, explains how you can use a "Biblical framework" to learn about Atlantis and estimate when it "sunk".

September 15, 2009 is the final day Kent Hovind has to pay his fines or his ten properties, including Dinosaur Adventure Land, will be seized to pay for the 58 felonies he was convicted of in November 2006.
His son, Eric Hovind, posted a plea for money to pay for these crimes asking for...
Some of you may know that there will be a ravening horde of evolutionists descending on Ken Ham's Creation "Museum" as part of the Secular Student's Association meeting. PZ Myers will be there, and will be giving the keynote speech the next night in Columbus, OH. So I have two things to ask from...
Liberty University requires "creation study" courses for biology degrees, etc.
I thought this article is pretty interesting:

Gidday all,
Not sure if anyone is aware of this, but the ole Ken Ham (the creation museum chap) used to be Australian (we kicked him out for being an arse), and Answers in Genesis (AiG) was originally an Australian operation. Since Ken went to the US, and began stirring up trouble there, there...
The time draws ever closer for the grand unveiling of the Creation Museum in Kentucky/Ohio wherever by its AIG founder, Ken Ham.

This is a new thread to track the book club started in the "Change of Heart" thread. This will start off with a challenge. I will read the Answer book by Ken Hamm, and Jesus Freak will read "Ever Since Darwin: Reflections in Natural History" by Stephen Jay Gould. If either Jesus Freak or I...

According to this LA Times story the roadside dinosaur park made famous in the movie "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" was bought up by a bunch of fundementalists and re-cast to support Creationism.
Depressing but true.
