    Is denial of the Nanking atrocities still an issue in Japan?

    I have read somewhere that some Japanese history textbooks have either downplayed or ignored the atrocities in Nanking. Is this still a problem in Japan today or do most of the people see it on the same level as Americans view Holocaust Denial? Thanks in advance.
