Noted ass-wipe Ken Starr died from complications related to surgery.

New Articles of Impeachment coming on Monday, including “incitement of insurrection.”...
Sooner or later, Usurper Trump is gonna f-up again and do something bad enough to warrant it. Will the House (assuming the legitimate government under the Democrats still holds) impeach again, or just throw their hands up in disgust and let the tyrant reign mostly unopposed?
Again, why does Moscow Mitch have so much power if Republicans disagree with him? Or are they just paying lip service to the idea of a fair process?
Thread continued from here.

The fix is formally in. Traitor Trump has openly added jury tampering to his list of crimes.
The American Experiment is dead.
It's a forgone conclusion there'll be one, how long?
ETA: How do get a reply before it even gets posted?
For the "or less" options, just assume "but more than the line above".
On the one hand, they don't want to be accused of tactical accusations in an election year so they stuck with the "safe" grounds (Ukraine scandal).
On the other hand, the principle of "strike while the iron is hot" seems to apply here. They are only going to get one shot at this, then the...
During his "testimony" during today's hearings, he repeatedly slammed the impeachment process for its "lack of substance", claiming that the record insufficiently established a basis for impeachment.
That conveniently overlooks the fact that it is because of Trump's deliberate obstruction that...
Again: what are they going to do? Send in the S-A-A to arrest Trump? He'll have the Secret Service throw him out.
That's the 'weakness' of the rule of law: it seems that is requires liberal amounts of forebearance, and if you have people in government who just don't play by the rules of the...
I posted this earlier and intended to include a poll. Given what you know about President Trump's presidency, do you believe he committed what the founders labeled a "high crime and ir misdemeanor"?
Whether his use of his properties constitutes a violation of the "phony Emoluments clause".
Or...
Did the Trump administration committed a high crime or misdemeanor?
I'm curious. Do you believe that President Trump committed a high crime?
If so, why or why not?
So, it looks like Trump may soon have to deal with impeachment, as support for impeachment from house Democrats is increasing.

I thought it was probably worth this having its own thread for related news, updates, discussion, etc. as it's not wholly related to any other thread and will likely be ongoing for quite a while.
For two years, Trump had no better defender than Robert Mueller. And he still is shielding Trump from any consequences, political or otherwise.
In his Report, and in his statement, Mueller made clear that early on he made the decision that charging Trump was not an option, and that only...
Cohen's statement about acting with the knowledge and direction of Despot Donald Trump means far far more than just the things Cohen did. it establishes precedent.
Now go back and re-read the reporting from the early days of the Mueller probe on Manafort's emails saying the campaign needed to...
Nixon was impeached...A political act.
Did Nixon actually break the law?
These were part of a different thread (President Trump: Part II), so I moved them here.
Well more accurately, could a President be convicted of treason? While it is clearly mentioned in the Constitution, the power the President has to conduct foreign relations is quite elaborate and I can't think of a circumstance where a President could actually be tried for Treason.
Today on local radio some guy called in that the new House needs to open proceedings to impeach Obama. The host asked on what grounds and the caller said "on the grounds that his ideology and policies will ruin the nation."
An impeachment based on policies and ideology? Could such a thing...
The answer is "Of course not," but don't tell that to the Democratic nominee for Tom DeLay's old congressional seat:
Yep, a Lyndon LaRouche disciple won the Democratic nod in a primary Tuesday. Granted, it's a safe Republican seat; the GOP did lose it in 2006 to a Democrat after the Abramoff...
The CD theory is the best thing that ever happened to Bush and Cheney as it is taking all the energy away from the real issues.
The real conspiracy is what Dennis Kucinich presented last night.
Linky.
Yes, he read all of them, taking a few hours on CSPAN.
Woot :yahoo ! Kucinich has still got it!
(I won't say what exactly "it" is, but it is in the DSM-IV)
That certainly seems a bit convenient. When Kucinich was in the race I found it curious that his impeachment efforts were congruent with his Presidential campaign efforts. Opportunist, maybe, but something smells here.

And then this guy was arrested for selling "impeach him" buttons at a farmer's market:

Arrested for selling buttons without a permit. Ookay. I wonder how...
The discussion of high crimes and misdemeanors of GW Bush is on this thread, The I-Word, Swapping Presidents. I am looking for admissions of hypocrisy, you can admit it unapologetically and anonymously. If you want to discuss whether Bush has committed impeachable offenses, the other thread is...
Bill Moyers had a program on the I-word and its application to Dick and Bush. If it did happen then who would be in the White House? Would it mean that Nancy Pelosi and Robert Byrd becoming President and Vice President? And wouldn't it screw up the Democratic party candidates run for president...
I can't believe this isn't all over the front page.
That is simply about as low as you can go. When he's telling the number one health official in the country NOT to do his job, well, I just wonder how low Bush can sink. But maybe I shouldn't be surprised. He's told environmental appointees...
