I haven't noticed any skeptic groups in the Southeastern US. Do they exist? I live south of Atlanta. (For those unfamiliar with the area, that means I'm in the sticks.) Although my neighbors are mostly cows, chickens, trailers, and pine-board churches, I can get to the city easily enough...

I was curious, are there any active groups dedicated to general skepticism in the Badger State? I know about Freedom From Religion Foundation (much maligned by the local right-wing AM radio squawk show hosts), but I was hoping to find something a little more broad based that just religion.

Is it legal for a place of business to refuse to do business with people of a particular minority? I know at one time there were stores that would refuse to serve different ethnic groups, but is it still legal to do so??
