    Mac "Secure Empty Trash"

    I have an iMac running Mountain Lion. As any Macoid knows, you can either delete something from the Trash folder the usual way, or you can use "Secure Empty Trash", which permanently removes files that cannot be recovered. I like my Trash folder tidy, so I never have more than a dozen or so...

    Crap, my external is acting up!

    I have a Seagate external hard drive with 1.5 terrabytes. I have about 350 gigs on it right now and all of a sudden my computer won't recognize the partitions that I have in it and wants to reformat it! Damn! I'm gonna lose everything aren't I? Crap!
