In a recent interview Obama told a reporter that at the end of his term in office he and his family would continue to live in Washington DC for at least another two years so that his youngest daughter can finish the remainder of her primary education at the same school.
It's a reasonable thing...
It has been awhile since I heard a claim that Obama is holding back America economically.
Why is this? Did he stop? Could it possibly have been only so much fact deprived hot air? Or did we just forget about it what with all the attention on the most important baby ever conceived and the one...
Since all the previous "scandals" haven't worked out so well for the right, they've now fixated on the news that two Marines held umbrellas over Prime Minister Erdogan and President Obama during a press conference outside the White House.
This is, apparently, an outrage or something.
So, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, President Obama released a statement mentioning how the survivors bore witness to “the horrors of the cattle cars, ghettos, and concentration camps have witnessed humanity at its very worst and know too well the pain of losing loved ones to senseless violence.”...
So says William J. Kelly, "an Emmy award-winning TV producer and conservative columnist" who is "also a contributor to the American Spectator and Breitbart.com", at the Moonie Times.
It seems Reagan used to live in an apartment in a certain apartment building that the University of Chicago has...
Oh no this is just devastating. This guy thinks he caught a bold lie from Michelle.
Then the vultures at Free Republic jumped all over it.
Then someone there pointed out the obvious....this supposed "lie" was itself a lie.
The actual quote from the speech Michelle gave:
"I loved Barack...
It seems the right wing BS echo chambers were really big on some made up story that Obama was going to give America the middle finger by spending July 4th with surrender monkeys in Paris. :rolleyes...
Now, it seems to me such a statement is pretty hyperbolic and based on who knows what size sample. However, I think we can agree there are at least some, maybe many, who have an acute degree of dislike for the president. As anyone who holds the office can tell you, it comes with the territory...
Avoiding her radio show is something I'd recommend for anyone wishing to maintain their sanity, but some of use have to catch a ticket to crazy town and report back to the rest of you in realityville. Perhaps it's jealously over the fact that First Lady found her an honest man and actually gave...
I will thank the Colbert Report for bringing this to my attention.
Apparently Obama threw a nice Halloween party with children of military parents serving overseas as guests. And this was recently touched on in new book. Johnny Depp was at the party and they had themed glasses to drink...
See this CNS news story for a good XMas laugh at Obama derangement syndrome.
http://cnsnews.com/news/article/us-capitol-christmas-tree-pays-homage-obama-not-jesus
I got a good chuckle out of CNS getting outraged by an ornament that lauds "Oblama" and then deems that the tree is a homage to...

Ok, I’ll admit to more than one attack of Bush Derangement Syndrome over the course of the Bush years. But now I see stuff like that above, and wonder was that me in the mirror? Possibly.
Anyway, Obama Derangement Syndrome, worse...

Mr. Beck pouring "gasoline" on person on show to demonstrate his fear that the Obama Administration has so badly disenfranchised him that the Government might as well simply set him on fire and kill him, rather...
In his inagural speech, Obama declared America is "willing to lead the world again" and warned that it will "defeat terrorists" and "its enemies".
If Bush had done the very same thing, he would have been instantly condemned by this forum, and by many in the mainstream media, as an imperialist...
Well, it's been popular for most of the last 8 years to refer to any criticism of 'W', who at this point is clearly one of the worst executives, if not the worst executive of them all, in this country's history, as "Bush Derangement Syndrome".
It occurs to me that such a thing exists, but that...
What exactly is this? I've seen a lot of right-wingers here use the term, and it seems to me like a poor attempt at whitewashing the Bush administration's..."shortcomings."

Civilian national security force, gun control, "spread the wealth", the fairness doctrine ect.
These things seem to have stirred the wingnuts paranoia. We're even seeing reports of spikes of gun sales. Are we about to see...
Well, I don't really think so.
But, if he wins, then -- for the next four years -- my fear is that just this slogan is going to be the "explanation" for ANYTHING he does, just like "Bush is an idiot murderer!" was the "explanation" for ANYTHING Bush did.
I really hope that, if he wins, I...
