Today NASA launched a probe named "Deep Impact" whose mission is to crash into a comet to give us a look at the interior. The launch window was 1 second long and the expected impact date is the 4th of July http://deepimpact.jpl.nasa.gov/

Ckeck this out I'm pretty sure it's not a parody, I saw not one but two bumper stickers for this on one car yesterday. The car also had a "America Bless God" and other stickers. I can only imagine what the person who owns the van is like. Scary.
