I could not believe this. Despite Blair's support for `pluralism' in education, the govt rejects ID being pushed into schools by the back door. Full marks - go to the top of the class. And it's not often I can praise politicians. Now, when will they take a similarly rational approach to sCAM...

From the looks of it, it seems that the pro-ID side has already abandoned hope. From the MSNBC report But the IDers are much more subdued: Gotta say, it's looking pretty good. And if you read the closing arguments from the trial posted here, it's hard to imagine the judge disagreeing...
